Class of the Month
January- Underwater Navigation
Underwater Navigation is one of the most important skills to learn as a divers. If you dive in the Florida Keys, you will find out that your dive master does not jump in the water with you on your dive. He draws a map of the dive location, explains what you will see and then sets you and your buddy off to have fun. But if you have no training in U/W Navigation, you might be surfacing 100 yards away from your boat, having them to come get you. This will be discussed in our next monthly meeting
February- Marine IDFish are cool looking and make a great conversation during your surface interval. But its hard to talk about the many different fish if you can only tell people it was real pretty, bus and had a yellow stripe. Come to our February meeting where we will show slides on basic marine Identification.
